Some diodes and a resistor were broken, but replacing them didn't solve the issue. Big cap (47uF 385V) is okay. If big cap and near varistor/thermistor are removed, nothing blows up, so error maybe comes later in the circuit. |

Transistor MJE18006 seems to be shorted. |

Changed transistor, cap and diodes, and still fails. If first two 1.5 and 0.5 ohm resistors are removed, PSU works for a while until it gets too hot. |

Forgot to put two resistors back for front photo. From the diode (between AC caps and vertical heatsink) towards the big cap: 1.5 and 0.5 ohms. |

Found a broken transistor (PN2907A). |

Replaced PN2907A and it's working again. |
